DAY 1: Journey
in the Oberaar
Dive in to the Grimsel world.
Overnight accommodation: Berghotel Oberaar
DAY 2: Oberaar-Sidelhorn-Handeck
The view is unique to the inner world of the uplands,
on to the deep blue Trübten Lake , the dammed Grimsel
Lake, on to the Finsteraar glacier.
Hiking time: 3h
Overnight accommodation: Hotel Grimsel Hospiz
DAY 3: Handeck-Rätrichsbodensee-Handeck
Vertical adventure with the Gelmer railway and circular
hike around the Gelmer Lake. Visit to the Grimsel power
station and crystal ravine.
Hiking time: 4h
Overnight accommodation: Hotel Handeck
DAY 4: Handeck-Guttannen-Furtwangsattel-Windegghütte
Steep ascent to the Furtwangsattel. The view suddenly
becomes clear here at 2558m into the upper Hasli Valley
and into the Grimsel area. A stunning view!
Hiking time: 5h
Take along baggage for overnight stay in hut.

DAY 5: Windegg
Hut-Trift Bridge-Trift Railway-Tälli Railway-Tällihütte
Thanks to the new hanging rope-bridge across the Trift
ravine and the newly laid out hut way, this trail offers
the unique chance to hike in a high alpine area and
to gaze admiringly at the one-of-a-kind glacier world.

Overnight accommodation: Tälli hut
DAY 6: Tälli
hut- Sätteli-Engstlenalp
Marvellous high-altitude hike up to the Engstlenalp
and to the Engtlen Lake. Wonderful hike through varying
alpine flora.
Hiking time: 4h
With post bus to Meiringe. Individual
