PAN UNESCO – THE TOUR FOR MOUNTAIN KINGS

INDIVIDUALLY ON YOUR WAY AND, NEVERTHELESS, PERFECTLY LOOKED AFTER

Day 1: You must go through the last of 7 canyons.
Individual journey to Meiringen. Excursion to the Grand canyon of the Bernese highlands: the Aare canyon.
Overnight accommodation: Meiringen.

Day 2: Where the glacier tongue reaches to the farmhouse gardens.
With support from pushing, cross the Grosse Scheidegg. In Grindelwald travel to the glaciers with the Pfingstegg aerial cable railway.
Overnight accommodation: Interlaken

Day 3: Blue lake, sometimes majestically large, sometimes romantically small.
The palette of the nicest kinds of highland scenery. Diverse journey, along Lake Thun, through Aeschi in the Kandertal.
Overnight accommodation: Kandersteg

Day 4: Past the palace of the former king of the Simplon.
Road transfer through the Lötschberg Tunnel finally ending up in sunny Wallis. Drive up along the Rhone to Naters and then slightly up the hill to Mörel.
Overnight accommodation: Riederalp

Day 5: A stream of about 27 billion metric tons of glacier ice.
Journey on the high-altitude footpath of the Riederalp via Bettmeralp on the Fiescheralp. Excursion on the Eggishorn. Thrilling departure to Lax in Obergoms and further down, along the young Rhone.
Overnight accommodation: Münster

Day 6: Lunch with the Oberaar Glacier as your neighbour.
The Flyer makes this pass great fun: winding pleasantly downward to the valley ground in the fantastic Grimselwelt. Visit to the Oberhasli AG power plant. Fascination of millions year old crystals.

Day 7: The experience that gives you tingles, in the almost-perpendiculars
Ride the Gelmerbahn high up the steep walls. It will get under your skin 106-percent. Rapid departure through mountain woods, along cliff walls, along the Aare to Meiringen to the crowning finish of your Tour d' Aventures 2008.
